June Crawshaw

June was born in Woking in Surrey in 1936. Married to Alwyn in 1957, they now both live in Mundesley, North Norfolk.

 

June paints in watercolour, acrylic and oil but also incorporates collage into some of her artwork.

 

She was made a member of the Society of Women Artists in 1987, a member of the British Watercolour Society in 1988 and a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association in 1997.

 

June's books include: Watercolour made Easy; You can Paint the Seashore; and a jont book: June and Alwyn Crawshaw, Their LIfe, Their Painting.

 

June has also featured in three television series on Channel 4, alongside her husband.

 

In 1992, June helped Alwyn found the Society of Amatuer Artists. She s listed in the current edition of "Who's Who in Art"
